Daryl Sabara -Jason Gates

An American film, television, voice over, and theatre actor, Daryl Sabara is best known for playing Juni Cortez in the SPY KIDS trilogy.  As well as starring in SPY KIDS, Sabara has made numerous other television and film appearances.  Some of his television credits include roles on FRIENDS, WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, and THE CLOSER, diving in to comedic and dramatic roles.  His other film roles include the voice of Hero-Boy in THE POLAR EXPRESS with Tom Hanks, KEEPING UP WITH THE STEINS alongside Jeremy Piven and Garry Marshall, and Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN. 

Sabara stepped away from the camera so he could receive some experience on the stage.  He was a lead in the workshop version of the Jason Robert Brown musical, 13 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.  He then worked with director Paul Mazursky in the original play CATSKILLS SONATA, which started at the Hayworth Theatre and moved to the Matrix Theatre later that year.  Sabara recently teamed up with Zemeckis again in the motion-captured version of a CHRISTMAS CAROL alongside Jim Carrey and Gary Oldman expected to release November 2009.  Daryl also completed WORLDS GREATEST DAD written and directed by comedian Bobcat Goldthwait, playing opposite Robin Williams.  In addition to acting, Daryl loves to channel his passion for music through playing the piano and guitar.
