Azra Bano Ali -Production Designer

Azra Bano Ali, was born in Hyderabad, India, and moved to the US at an early age. Azra grew up surrounded by the “Bollywood” style of filmmaking and loved the colors and the materials used in those productions. Azra received her Bachelors degree in Communication at Pennsylvania State University in 2005.  However, Azra was always more interested in the artistic side of filmmaking.

Knowing this, she made her way out to Los Angeles in 2005 with one goal in mind, to work in the Art Department.  She has worked in every area of the Art Department from set construction to props.  However, Azra found her true gift in Production Design and has since made a career at that.  Azra always puts her whole heart into every project she works on and that is proven by the many awards she has been nominated for and received.   Azra feels so lucky to get to do what she loves to do and can’t think of any other job as gratifying, challenging, and amazing as Production Designer.
